October 2024: What’s new on the ABCP Platform

#ABCP_2.0 (tags used before:  #abcp_TS #abcp_TS-2)

  • A large number of modifications and improvements have been made in ABCP 2.0. Changes have been implemented in the following sections: warehouse, orders assembly, goods receipts, returns from customers, returns to suppliers and others.

#abcp_search

  • When filtering by brand in the search results of “Popular” and “Favorites” lists, the selected brands are now marked with checkmarks and moved to the top of the list. Please remember that the “Popular” list is formed automatically based on the Platform statistics, while “Favorites” is configured independently in the Control Panel. When setting filters, the choice is saved in the link to the search results,so the link can be forwarded to another user. 

#abcp_finance

  • All stores on the Platform have access to the promo codes functionality, which is represented by promo codes for replenishing the bonus balance in the first version. In order to work with promo codes, the Bonus System has to be enabled. The points’ writing-off should be set up in the Bonus System so that the customers have an opportunity not only to accumulate but also to write off their bonuses. The points’ voiding can also be set up.
  • The filter by customer’s office in the lists of Financial module and electronic payments has been added. 
  • The Robokassa online payments acceptance service has been enabled. It works for legal entities and sole proprietors. It provides 13+ payment methods: Russian and foreign bank cards, SBP, Pay-methods, YooMoney, installment plans, credit, and the “Podeli” option. Receipts are free of charge. The first 3 months are offered at a discounted rate (2.7% instead of 3.9%).
  • Now a specific payment type can be selected in the YooKassa payment system. For example, it is possible to put only a card or SBP.
  • A new payment system for customers from Kyrgyzstan — Freedom Pay.

#abcp_export_prices

  • Support for formulas like {FORMULA}=ROUND({availability}*{priceSale}, 2){/FORMULA} has been added to the templates for price lists generation in order to solve private tasks. 
  • For Avito generation:
    • a “Shipping method” setting has been added, it allows selecting a suggested shipping method depending on the price range of the item;
    • The translation of the “ATF” tag has been updated for the “Transmission oils” product group;
    • due to the mandatory requirement from Avito to show the tires’ year of production from 12.11.2024, the “TireYear” tag has been added. It will be transmitted from the configuration settings;
    • the ability to add additional addresses in the configuration settings has been implemented, so that Avito calculates the distance and cost of delivery more accurately;
    • in accordance with the new requirements of Avito, the algorithm of cutting the ad header has been changed;
    • auto-replacement of unseparated spaces with common ones in ad titles has been performed;
    • the list of available values in the RimType tag has been updated.
  • A new “Description for Marketplaces” field has been added to the “Product Information”. It can be exported to YML, Avito, and Google Merchant Center price lists and feeds. 
  • The allowed size of files with the list of articles in the settings of “Include/Exclude items to/from the list” fields has been increased to 15 MB. 
  • The status tags of used goods have been updated in YML generation.

#abcp_sms_telegram_whatsapp

  • Informing of employees by events: requests for cooperation, order a call, request to delete an order item, return, change the “Control Panel: access only from specified IP-addresses” option - has been added to Telegram.
  • Phone codes and masks for Singapore and Uganda have been added.

#abcp_catalog 

  • In “My Catalogs”:
    • URLs clear for human beings are now available to all users of editable catalogs. CNCs are turned off by default. When enabled, a redirect is automatically created for old addresses to the new ones, so as not to lose conversions from pages in the index;
    • The “On-site display mode” setting has been added, it allows choosing who to show the catalog to - only employees, all site users or only registered users;
    • The ability to fill the catalog’s root page with arbitrary content has been added to the “Root catalog editing” tab of the settings;
    • The “Open the assessment in the new tab” setting has been added;
    • The “Clear filter” button for clearing all selected catalog filters has been added to the website;
    • Remembering the state of blocks (minimized/expanded) in the panel with catalog filters has been implemented on the website;
    • The navigation in catalog settings has been improved in the Control Panel;
    • The code for “Group adding of flypages” has been updated. 

#abcp_delivery

  • A separate chat room has been created for all ABCP users who already use delivery services via Versta integration and for those who are just about to begin doing this. There you can get useful information and participate in discussions of all the matters related to delivery. 

#abcp_cart 

  • The “Yes” value has been renamed to “Yes, the item is marked by default” for the “Cart: allow partial checkout” option. If the option is enabled with this value, then the item should be marked with a checkbox when being added to the cart. A third “Yes, the item is NOT marked by default” value has been added - when adding an item to the cart, it will not be marked with a checkbox. 

#abcp_API

  • Information about payment types linked to the profile has been added in API GET and POST profile operations (cp/users/profiles) — paymentTypes.
  • A condition for displaying delivery for offices has been implemented in the basket/shipmentMethods API operation, so that the same delivery methods are displayed on the website and through the API if the contents of the cart are the same.
  • A new cp/route/create operation for creating a supplier route has been added.

 #abcp_cp

  • Now a customer can be converted to an employee and vice versa. When deleting an employee, it can be chosen whether to delete the employee or delete and keep them as an active customer. A customer/former employee can be assigned as an employee again by using the “Assign as an employee” button in the customer data card.

 #abcp_clients

  • A country filter field has been added in the Customers section when the “Control Panel: Customers - Country” option is enabled. 

 #abcp_brands

  • Statistics on working with manufacturers’ data in October:
    • brands added — 73;
    • brand descriptions added — 104;
    • articles added — 147858;
    • product images added — 77359; 
    • cross references added — 2760394.

#abcp_suppliers

  • Price suppliers can now be quickly copied by using the button next to the name in the supplier card. By clicking and confirming, a new supplier is created with the same update settings, details, structure, routes, and more. 
  • In the search by description - if the search is performed strictly by one supplier, the number of results is now limited to 3000 products. 
  • New online suppliers have been added:
    • Academic
    • CityMotors
    • KST
    • EV-Parts
